Privacy

In addition to our privacy policies, visitor I.P. addresses are automatically added to all forms submitted from this site. An I.P. address can not identify you, this is performed only to avoid abuse.


Copyrights

The presentation, design, and contents displayed in all sections of this website are the intellectual and physical property of P&S Logistics and are protected under Australian and International Copyright Law. None of these elements can be duplicated, replicated fully or in any of their parts, nor distributed without the express written consent of PS Logistics.

Liability

By entering this site, you accept that it is presented on an “as is” basis. Neither P&S Logistics, nor the website designer (P&S Logistics), makes any warranty concerning this site, nor takes responsibility for technical inaccuracies. In accessing this site, you assume all responsibility.

Damage To Vehicles

In case your vehicle gets damaged during its transport, please get in touch with the carrier to determine compensations and levels of liability. Carriers do not cover already damaged/write-off or non drivable vehicles in any case.

Our Position

By using our service, you accept that P&S Logistics is acting as an agent on your behalf to obtain the best possible price and service available. With this, you understand that P&S Logistics do not perform themselves directly the vehicle transport.

In addition, you accept that it is the carrier, and not PS Logistics, the holder of the responsibility of transporting your vehicle. This implies the acceptance of the carrier’s terms and conditions and that if any damage occurs you understand that the carrier themselves will deal with this for you

Transport Conditions

While we assist with cars and light commercials that are not registered, all vehicles must comply with the following terms:

  • In a drivable roadworthy condition, no damage.
  • Have clearance of 6 inches / 150 mm.
  • Must be below 1.90 m to be classed as standard height. We can still move larger vehicles, but additional charges may apply.
  • In situations that dimensions of the vehicle are required, they should be considered from the furthest points. (top of roof racks/edge of mirrors *folded in*/bullbar/tow ball, etc)
  • Functioning brakes and handbrakes.
  • Windows and roof should be in the optimal state or it will be transported in an enclosure at extra costs.
  • The car should have a smooth start.
  • In a drivable roadworthy condition, no damage.
  • The car weight should not be over 3 tonnes unless arranged previously.
  • TRANSPORT VEHICLES WITH GOODS INSIDE

    All vehicles must be empty unless the ‘Goods in Car’ option is selected. Please note that this service only allows goods with the following characteristics:

  • They should weigh 80 Kg or less.
  • Goods must not block any windows.
  • Good should not be placed on the floor behind the driver’s seat or either of the front seats.
  • No legal responsibility will be taken for goods or vehicle loss or damage as a result of the goods being in it.
  • EMPTY VEHICLES CAN CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING ONLY

    We will still consider a car as empty if the following items are kept in it:

  • Spare tyre
  • Jack
  • Toolbox associated with the vehicle
  • Baby Seats and Booster Seats (they should be fitted, not loose).
  • Transit Times

    Transit times are always estimates and are not guaranteed under any circumstances. Due to traffic, acts of nature, seasonal periods or backlogs, transit times can be longer or shorter.

    Any estimate given is considered in business days usual time and do not include weekends or public holidays

    We strongly recommend avoiding planning meetings, trips or holidays taking transit times into account. P&S Logistics or its contracted car carriers will not be responsible for excess transit times.

    Collection of Vehicles

    If your vehicle is not being collected from a metropolitan area (i.e. a Capital City), some flexibility might be needed as most non-capital pickups are collected by interstate vehicles.

    Collection of cars from Auction Houses

    Auction cars must be usable and free of any damages. , roadworthy, no damage, no dents. If the car invoice says write off at all or presents any damage, the service should be re-quoted as the prices established do not consider written off or damaged cars.

    This information must be provided to us when the service booking is performed. Otherwise, the service might be canceled.

    Adjustments to bookings

    Once a booking has been confirmed and the information has been sent to you, adjustments made may cause an administrative fee that increases the established price for your service.

    Cancellations

    All cancellation needs to be confirmed via written means; phone calls are not valid to cancel a booking.

    We reserve the right to add a cancellation fee between $80.00 and $195.00 depending on the circumstances of the cancellation. This is additional to charges related to incorrect information supplied at the time of booking. Refunds may take up to 5 business days to be processed.

    If the transport is canceled with less than 48 hours notice, or not canceled at all in via written means, and a carrier attends the collection, a futile fee will be added to the cancellation charge. This charge will range from $150.00 to $300.00 on the metropolitan collection and up to the total of the transport service fee if the pick-up was meant to be performed out of the city.

    If the vehicle has been collected and a space allocated on the truck for it, and you decide to cancel for any reason, the carrier can collect the entire amount of transport costs, as they will not be able to re-book that space.

    Personal Information Privacy

    ‘Personal Information’ is defined as “Information or an opinion (including information or an opinion forming part of a database), whether true or not and whether recorded in a material form or not, about an individual whose identity is apparent or can reasonably be ascertained from the information or opinion”.

    In that matter, we require personal information for the general operation of our business and to offer you the services we provide.

    Disclosure

    P&S Logistics will not provide any personal information collected, to persons and institutions outside of P&S Logistics, other than to provide the services or products that you requested, or other than for employment, or legal, or lawful purposes. This may include (but not limited to) disclosing information to Legal/Law Enforcement Agencies/Agents, and Government agencies such as (but not limited to) the Australian Taxation Office, WorkCover, Department of Social Services, and Child Support Agencies.

    Other than stated above, P&S Logistics will not disclose personal information, unless you have authorised us to do so.

    Access and Correction of Personal Data

    If at any time the personal information you have supplied to P&S Logistics needs to be accessed by yourself or altered in any way, this will be provided only to the person/s named on such information and only by written application accompanying suitable identification.

    Security

    Whilst P&S Logistics takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information, sending and receiving information over the Internet is always at your own risk. No guarantee can be given that information sent over the Internet is completely secure.

    Credit Card Details

    We do not store credit card information after any transaction or information request.
